Weiser goes on cross-Canada tour

Weiser, a home security products manufacturer, drove its 56-ft. demonstration trailer into Montreal this month as part of its summer-long tour of Canadian home-improvement stores, according to an article in the Montreal Gazette. 

A division of Stanley Black & Decker, Weiser specializes in electronic locks. Although the traveling road show will allow customers to try out all their products, the Burnaby, B.C.-based company is promoting its SmartKey re-key technology, which allows homeowners to re-key their own locks quickly and easily without removing the lockset from the door.

The summer tour will run from May to September and stop at 66 locations in southern Ontario and Quebec.
