Black + Decker has unveiled its new PowerCommand Outdoor Power Tools collection in time for the lawn and garden season.

The new String Trimmer, Sweeper and Hedge Trimmer capitalize on the PowerCommand approach to common user frustrations.

The 20V MAX Easyfeed String Trimmer allows the user to easily and reliably feed trimmer line with a push of the Easyfeed button, putting control back into the user's hands without the hassle of bumping.

The 20V MAX Powerboost Sweeper gives the user a surge in blowing speed of up to 130 MPH with the push of a button. Users can loosen stubborn debris or operate the Sweeper in non-boost mode for additional runtime during less rigorous tasks and for more precise control in moving debris.

The 20V MAX Powercut Hedge Trimmer puts added cutting control in the user's hands with the Powercut feature, which can power through jams with a push of the button.

Additionally, Black + Decker is making moves in the battery arena. Now, all batteries with Smartech Technology will link to the free Black + Decker mobile app, allowing users to lock or unlock the battery, view the percent of the battery's remaining charge, use the locate feature to find a missing battery, or activate the battery's integrated USB port to power external devices, such as tablets and phones.

The PowerCommand lineup is now available at retailers nationwide. PowerCommand tools with Smartech batteries will roll out this summer.
