Valspar rolls out chalky finish paint

Thanks to new products just launched by Valspar, it's easier than ever to attain an aged, distressed paint look.

Valspar's new chalky finish paint works together with Valspar Sealing Wax and Valspar Antiquing Wax for a vintage, chalky look.

The 40 chalky finish colors are ideal for use on wood and metal furniture, featuring a low odor and easy cleanup.

The thick, ultra-matte paint can adhere to nearly any surface without stripping or priming, and it's easy to use for amateur DIYers.

Users also have their share of versatile options. Alone, the chalky finish paint creates an ultra-matte look. With Sealing Wax, one gets a satin finish. When sanded and topped with Sealing Wax, the result is distressed, and when topped with Sealing Wax and Antiquing Wax, one winds up with an antiqued result.
