U.S. Lumber and Jeld-Wen seal deal

In a new strategic partnership, Jeld-Wen and LBM distributor U.S. Lumber are opening the door for more product choices available to the building industry in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Effective in mid-2016, door dealers and lumberyards throughout five Mid-Atlantic states will be able to purchase the entire collection of Jeld-Wen exterior and interior door product lines from U.S. Lumber. U.S. Lumber will prehang and distribute the doors, as well as provide other added-value features for customers. 

“With housing starts continuing to increase, Jeld-Wen is committed to leading the industry through quality, service and innovation,” said Bob Merrill, executive vice president of sales for Jeld-Wen. “A partnership with a leading distributor like U.S. Lumber will provide our customers with a level of knowledge and responsiveness that is unmatched in the industry.”

U.S. Lumber, established in 1986, will distribute the Jeld-Wen portfolio, in addition to MiraTEC treated exterior composite trim. The products will be offered by U.S. Lumber in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
