Tapco offers up paintable Grayne

New from Tapco is a paintable version of Grayne, its low-maintenance cedar shingle alternative.
Offering builders the ability to customize home exteriors further, the shingle mimics the look of 5" natural white cedar shingles.
Thanks to a new proprietary surface treatment, it holds paint better and longer than cedar or other hardboard siding.
Other features of Grayne include resistance to insect infestation, mildew, rot and warping.
Made from rigid PVC composite, it’s impervious to moisture. The deep texture of Grayne creates the same look of a cedar replacement, even when painted.
In addition, it’s less than 1/3 the weight of fiber cement and is also easier and faster to install with less scrap and waste than cedar.
