St. Paul retailer calls it quits

Gary and Mary Langula, owners of St. Paul-Min.-based Langula Hardware announced they have agreed to sell the business after years of slow sales, mounting bills, big box competition and pressure from the county development agency,  according to the Twin Cities Pioneer Press .

 

The Hardware Hank members said they will close their doors after 96 years in business after an “everything must go” sale starting Dec. 9. They have accepted an offer of an undisclosed amount from the Dakota County Community Development Agency.
