Rapid delivery on-demand in Toronto
In a world of Uber deliveries and labor shortages, a Toronto company is offering quick on-demand delivery directly to contractors on job sites.
Founded by construction professionals, ToolBx offers express 2-hour delivery of tools and building products from more than 200 suppliers in the region.
On its website, Toolbx.com, the company said that it’s, “devoted to helping builders maximize job site productivity and efficiency by ensuring your team always has everything they need to get the job done.”
ToolBx estimates the builders and construction crews who send their employees out on two to three supply runs per week could end costing as much as $15,000 in annual labor costs per year.
The service provider offers express delivery of 2 hours or less in four markets in the Toronto Metro region and same-day delivery in three additional markets, including Mississaugua. ToolBx also provides free coffee for the crew with each delivery.
Contractors can download the ToolBx app, which offers more than 30,000 products. GPS tracking and real-time order tracking is also provided, allowing contractors to know exactly when their order is scheduled to arrive.
