Pirch opens up shop in Austin
Pirch is opening up its tenth location in the United States with a new showroom in Austin, Texas.
The new location will be a place where architects, interior designers, builders and home owners can shop and "test-drive" various premier appliance brands from around the globe in one interactive environment.
As the company describes it, it's a showroom where showers run water, and oven ranges have cookies baking or rotisseries turning.
Imagine a kitchen, bath, laundry and outdoor showroom where showers and faucets actually run water, and a kitchen with a working range might have cookies baking or the rotisserie turning!
The "try before you buy" concept is articulated through a working test kitchen, where recipes can be tried by a visiting chef or special events may be held.
Featured brands include BainUltra, Bertazzoni, Duravit, DXV, La Cornue, Gaggenau, Gessi, Graff, Kalamazoo, Kallista, Kohler, Miele, Rohl, Sub-Zero, Thermador, Watermark, Wolf, Viking, Victoria + Albert, among hundreds of others.
"We are thrilled to open our tenth Pirch location in Austin, Texas," said CEO Andrea Dorigo. "It's such a dynamic and growing city, with an extraordinary variety of architecture and new home developments as well as a thriving business environment. Our innovative kitchen, bath and outdoor concept is changing the home industry by showcasing the best the world has to offer in appliances for kitchen and bath all under one roof, in an environment that makes shopping for appliances a fun and informative experience."
"Pirch is delivering a elevated retail concept, revolutionary within its industry, that encourages consumers to have fun in their shopping experience by interacting with products before buying and enjoy an exceptional service relationship from selection through install," said CMO Michael Zuna. "We are excited to work with the architects, custom home builders and interior designers of Austin and anyone building or renovating their home!"
