Pfister expands Slate-finish offerings

In a nod to the burgeoning reign of gray in the kitchen and bath world (and fashion industry at large), Pfister is expanding its Slate-finish faucet line.

The new Slate Privé pull-out kitchen faucet and Slate Pasadena bath faucet are now availble in Pfister's fashion-forward Slate color, joining the Pasadena pull-down kitchen faucet that was introduced in July and prompted the expansion with its fast success.

“Slate can assume the look of a room, whether the space’s style is contemporary, transitional or traditional,” said Darin Heuer, group marketing manager with Pfister Faucets. “Depicted in faucets and accessories, it adds a nice layer of drama to a kitchen or bathroom, without being overpowering.”

Brian Schaadt, senior product manager at Pfister, added that matte finishes have been a prominent trend in home products ranging from flooring to wall paint.

“Consumers want a faucet finish that conveys today’s color trends while complementing stainless steel and the wide spectrum of hues present throughout their home," he said.
