PACOA reports increased attendance at show
Port Washington, N.Y.- based distributor PACOA reported a 10% increase in attendance and sales at its Annual Spring Dealer Market in Queens, N.Y.
More than 50 new dealers attended the show, which concluded March 9. Dealers were able to take advantage of great savings through the new “Door Buster” promotions, which provided deep discounts on top-selling items only available for attending dealers, the company said.
There were more than 180 nationally known vendors participating in the market. PACOA introduced several new vendors this year; among them were Dickies, Rain-X, Plutonium, Valley Forge Flags, Chapin Sprayers, BOSCH Power Tools, Pulsar, Westchester Gloves and Tork Timers. PACOA also introduced line expansions to its private brands G-FORCE and PAINT-FORCE.
Self-described as the “the independent distributor serving the independent dealer,” PACOA serves dealers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New England, Mid Atlantic and beyond with paint, hardware, lumber, janitorial, electrical and building supplies.
Earlier this month, PACOA joined the Distribution America co-op, along with Blish-Mize, Florida Hardware, Handy Hardware and other hardware distributors.
PACOA’s next show will be the Fall Dealer Market also at Queens College on Sept. 12 and 13, where they are going to continue to expand and provide greater value for attending dealers.
