Owens Corning tackles the roof, systematically

2/20/2018

Owens Corning's dealer-friendly Roofing Collection Product Guide asks a simple question: "What's the most important part of the roof?"

The answer: "All of them."

There's no single product that allows a roof to withstand the elements outside and to maintain comfort inside. And that's why the company promotes its "Total Protection Roofing System," with components that work with each other in an integrated package.

The seven highlights of the system are:

  • Intake ventilation;

  • Ice and water barrier;

  • Underlayment;

  • Starter shingle products;

  • Shingles;

  • Exhaust ventilation; and

  • Hip and ridge shingles.

According to the company's product guide, the system "gives your customers the assurance that all of their Owens Corning roofing components are working together to help increase the performance of the roof -- and to enhance the comfort and enjoyment of those who live beneath it."
