NLBMDA urging Congress for more loan funding
The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) wants to see additional funding for COVID-19 loan programs.
Last week, the NLBMDA sent a letter to Capitol Hill urging lawmakers to quickly pass additional funding for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). NLBMDA created a grassroots campaign for members to contact their elected officials to echo this message which can be accessed here.
Funds for these loan programs are now completely depleted and lawmakers need to step up and immediately pass additional funding to ensure that businesses, including LBM dealers, have access to these funds as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
NLBMDA is asking all members and industry stakeholders from across the nation to contact their lawmakers and tell them to increase funding to these critical loan programs that are needed to protect your business.
Dealers can contact members of Congress here and urge them to pass additional small business loan funding.
