NLBMDA hosting federal business relief webinar
The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) will host webinar on COVID-19 Federal Business Relief Efforts.
The webinar is scheduled for April 9 at 3 p.m. EST with registration available here. NLBMDA Director of Government Affairs Kevin McKenney will present the webinar.
The NLBMDA issued the following statement regarding the webinar and how components of federal stimulus can assist businesses:
Over the past several weeks, NLBMDA has been working tirelessly on behalf of the entire lumber and building materials industry to ensure federal lawmakers understand how vital it is for supporting residential and commercial construction and the U.S. economy as a whole.
Last week Congress passed “Phase 3” of their relief efforts in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, we invite all NLBMDA members to join us as we explain several components of the federal legislation and how it impacts your businesses. We will share how dealers can take advantage of provisions such as loan programs, employer tax credits, and others.
The webinar will also explain how dealers can access federal resources and offer guidance on applications, federal agency resources and contacts, and other important information.
