New York Wire rolls out new pet screen

Green Island, N.Y.-based New York Wire introduced a pet screen with the added feature of flame-resistance.

The Pet Resistant screen offers a strong screening option that will resist tears and damage by cats and dogs. It now meets the ASTM standards for flame resistance.

The manufacturing process and technology we use provides us with the ability to include a flame retardant coating on the screen 



Manufactured from heavy-duty polyester yarns, pet resistant screen is much heavier than traditional screening and can be used in any door or window. The company says the product is ideal for areas where pets or children push against the screening because the polyester yarns tolerate some stretching.
