New officers for STAFDA

The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association’s new president Terry Earle is part of a new slate of STAFDA leaders.

Earle, chief operating officer and sales manager for Fort Worth Bolt & Tool Co. in Texas, was elected during STAFDA’s 39th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Phoenix. Fort Worth Bolt & Tool operates branch locations in Dallas and Denton, Texas, serving the industrial and construction markets.

Tom Leahy, of Border Construction Specialties of Phoenix, was elected STAFDA VP. His responsibilities at Border include managing facilities, assets, insurance, supply chain, safety and sales teams at the company’s 12 locations.

Four new board members were also elected:

• Steve Bailey, president and owner of Bailey Tools & Safety; Louisville, Kentucky;

• Sean Baird, president and owner, Hampton Roads Fastener & Construction Supply, Virginia Beach, Virginia;

• Dan Esch, president, Esch Construction Supply; St. Paul, Minnesota; and

• Al Talbot, president, Western States Tool & Supply Corp.; Hayward, California.
