New chief at small business group

After serving on the board of directors for several years, Paula Calimafde has been named the new executive director of the Small Business Legislative Council.

Calimafde is a principal with Bethesda, Md., law firm Paley Rothman. She replaces John Satagaj, who retired. 

The SBLC is a non-profit group representing the interests of small privately owned businesses in several areas, including taxation and health care.
