Nebraska True Value store to re-open in early 2009

2/20/2018

Wilke-Donovan True Value in Kearney, Neb., which was destroyed by fire in May, is being rebuilt as a Destination True Value store with plans to reopen in April 2009.

The store, which is being rebuilt in the same location, will feature 12,000 square feet of retail space and will include True Value paint and outdoor power equipment departments. Owner Lloyd Wilke is excited about converting his 33-year-old business to the DTV format, calling it “better organized, more refreshed and modern.”

Wilke, who is operating his business out of a temporary location in Kearney until the new store is completed, plans to hold a grand re-opening event in June.
