Milwaukee pumps out an industry first

Milwaukee Tool says its new M18 Transfer Pump is the industry’s first self-priming, cordless transfer pump.

The pump product was developed specifically for the water removal challenges faced by plumbers, HVAC professionals, and maintenance technicians.

The self-priming the M18 Transfer Pump has a flexible impeller that, once turned on, starts pumping water instantly from inlet to outlet without the need for additional priming assistance from the user, the company said.

At 480 gallons per hour, the pump can rapidly move water from one area to another. Also, the Transfer Pump is protected against dry pumping by switching off when the application is complete and the tool begins running dry. This helps to protect the motor, maximizing the life of the tool and also allows users to conduct other work related tasks without having to worry about damaging the tool.

The new M18 Transfer Pump is compatible with the entire M18 line, now offering more than 100 power tool products.
