Masonite brings out the barn door offerings

In light of a burgeoning DIY trend, Masonite is capitalizing on the popularity of barn doors with the introduction of its new Barn Door Kits.

The kits come complete with everything a homeowner needs to install a barn door in one day, according to Masonite. This includes pre-drilled doors and their accompanying hardware.

For aesthetic options, Masonite is offering a rustic door with a Z-bar design and antique hardware, as well as a West End Collection Melrose with modern design and stainless steel hardware.

“Barn doors are a unique way to add creativity to a space and now homeowners can install them in their home without the need to hire an outside contractor,” says Chel Barban, director of channel marketing for Masonite International. “Put them in a laundry room, pantry space, or even to hide a TV. The options are endless.”

Each kit includes a door pre-routed for a floor guide and hardware, track and handle, 1x4 install board and installation instructions.
