L&W Supply buying NexGen Building Supply
L&W Supply Corporation, a subsidiary of ABC Supply, is acquiring NexGen Building Supply.
With headquarters in Elk Grove, Ill., NexGen distributes drywall, ceiling systems, steel studs, and other LBM products. The company operates 15 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
The acquisition is L&W’s largest purchase since being acquired by ABC Supply in 2016.
Following this deal, L&W will operate 156 locations in 35 states. L&W recently acquired Wright Bros. Supply in Northern California and Ace Supply Inc. in Montgomery, Ala.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but the transaction is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2018.
