LP names new SVP, counsel
Building products manufacturer Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP) has named Nicole Daniel to the position of senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
“Nicole brings an exceptionally accomplished legal background and strong senior leadership experience that will serve LP well as we continue to progress on our goal to transform LP into a leading building solutions company and deliver top-tier value for our customers and shareholders,” LP CEO Brad Southern said.
Daniel joins LP from Ciner Enterprises and Ciner Resources in Atlanta, Ga., where she served as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Ciner is the world’s largest producer of natural soda ash.
Prior to Ciner, Daniel was previously vice president and deputy counsel of Albemarle Corp. where she also served as chief compliance officer.
LP is based in Nashville, Tenn.
