LG appliances get the black stainless steel treatment

LG has come up with a new series of kitchen appliances featuring a Black Stainless Steel finish.

Featuring the new look are a collection of new refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers and microwaves, all with a fingerprint and smudge-resistant veneer.

In celebration of this, HGTV stars David Bromstad and Emily Henderson are co-hosting "Limitless Design," a first-of-its-kind showcase of kitchen design possibilities using inspiration from Pinterest boards brought into the real world.

"I believe that every room in the house should have some element of black to help ground all of the other design choices, while also making a statement," said Emily Henderson, stylist, designer and season five winner of HGTV's "Design Star." Guests at Limitless Design will get to experience a range of dramatic kitchen design possibilities inspired by Black Stainless Steel-centric Pinterest boards created by Bromstad and Henderson.

A panel discussion on the emergence of black stainless steel will also take place.
