LBM Advantage sets sights on Northwest
LBM Advantage Inc. added a territory manager to build business in the Northwest, including Wisconsin, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Nebraska and Iowa.
Steve Houle will take on the Northwest Territory Manager role for LBM Advantage, the forest products and building materials co-op that resulted from the merger of ENAP and PAL.
Houle will be heavily focused on new member recruiting and business development. He brings 30-plus years of industry experience to LBM Advantage as a 27-year business owner and president of Bob’s Building Supplies, a retail lumberyard in Baxter, Minnesota; and as a sales and marketing professional with Silver Star industries, a manufacturer and distributor of livestock handling equipment.
He has also served as a board member and education committee member of the Northwest Lumber Association.
“We expect him to hit the ground running with independent retailers in this region to educate them on the tremendous opportunities available with LBM Advantage, Inc.” said Paul Dean, executive VP of LBM Advantage. “His experience as a lumberyard owner will be a springboard for immediate growth for us in this market.”
