Kuiken Brothers readies for Newark
Kuiken Brothers is positioned to open its latest location on a 10-acre site in Newark, N.J.
Situated on Newark Bay and up the road from Port Newark, the site is at the center of the ever-growing distribution hub of the New Jersey and New York metro market. This marks Kuiken Brothers ninth building materials location.

Kuiken Brothers, the 2017 HBSDealer Pro Dealer of the Year, has supplied materials to residential and commercial projects in the Newark market for years. The new facility will provide the company with greater access and faster delivery in the region, including Hudson, Essex and Union counties.
The site is located approximately one mile off Exit 15E on the New Jersey Turnpike and has easy access to Route 78, Route 280, Routes 1 & 9 and the Garden State Parkway. Kuiken also notes that the site has a highly active rail siding as well as waterfront access and deep water berth on Newark Bay.
The location includes a drive thru-warehouse with 8 loading docks, auto-racking, and 115,000 square feet of covered storage, in addition to other features.
Kuiken Brothers is based in Fair Lawn, N.J. A formal grand opening is expected to be announced in the near future, the company said.
