Johns Manville gets closer to Lowe's
Lowe's and Johns Manville have signed a multi-year agreement that makes the Denver-based insulation and roofing materials manufacturer Lowe’s exclusive home insulation provider.
While Lowe’s already offers Johns Manville insulation products in nearly 600 stores, the company expects the full line of innovative products to be available in nearly all 1,700 Lowe’s stores over the next several months.
Currently at Lowes.com, a product search for "fiberglass insulation" reveals Johns Manville products alongside Owens Corning home insulation products.
“At a time when energy awareness and healthy homes are top of mind, Johns Manville is the market leader in providing insulation products that can improve air quality and are easier to use for consumers,” said Nick Canter, Lowe’s executive VP merchandising. “Through this new, multi-year agreement, we will enhance a very productive relationship that has already benefited Lowe’s customers for well over a decade.”
Todd Raba, CEO of Johns Manville, added: “We have a 150-year history of innovation, and this multi-year agreement reinforces Lowe's commitment to delivering industry-leading products to the home improvement market.”
