Jeld-Wen names new chairman
Window and door manufacturer Jeld-Wen has announced the appointment of Robert Turner as its new chairman of the board.
Turner started his career with Jeld-Wen in 1971 and was later named executive VP and COO. Turner was elected to the company's board of directors in 1994 and became vice chair in 2007.
As chairman, Turner succeeds Richard Wendt, who succeeded his father, Lester Wendt. Richard Wendt remains on the Jeld-Wen board of directors and active within the company's leadership.
Based in Klamath Falls, Ore., Jeld-Wen manufactures a full breadth of windows, interior, exterior and garage doors.
