Hyde rolls out the demos
Describing itself as the "newly branded" Hyde Group, the Southbridge, Mass.-based tool manufacturer says it's entering this year's National Hardware Show with a variety of demonstrations in the bag.
Hyde Tools and A. Richard Tools — the company's two construction division brands — will showcase a StirWhip mixer, a new MudGun drywall finishing system and new Flexi Frame paint rollers, among other items.
"The Hyde Group is the longest continuous participant in the show, with a tradition of annual new product rollouts that began the very first year of the show’s existence," the company said in a press release.
Also at the Hyde booth will be a one-tool-does-it-all Caulk Aid, a dust-free professional pole sander, and an adjustable mini-roller frame.
Hyde will also demonstrate three specialty snap-off utility knives, including a heavy duty 25mm knife with a powerful screw lock that withstands up to 110 pounds of holding force.
