HD Supply acquires Presto Maintenance Supply
HD Supply Holdings, Inc., one of the largest industrial distributors in North America, has acquired Houston-based Presto Maintenance Supply.
Presto is a maintenance, repair and operations distributor primarily serving the metro Houston multifamily industry. The company generated sales of $15 million in 2018.
HD Supply reported that the deal closed on Sept. 1. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“We are excited to welcome Presto Maintenance Supply to the HD Supply Facilities Maintenance team,” said Brad Paulsen, president of HD Supply Facilities Maintenance. “In addition to acquiring a respectable business with a strong cultural fit and great end-market alignment, this acquisition further strengthens our ability to provide products and services for existing and new customers.”
HD Supply operates 270 branches and 44 distribution centers across the United States and Canada. The Atlanta, Ga.-based company serves approximately 550,000 customers in the maintenance, repair and operations, and specialty construction sectors.
For fiscal 2018, HD Supply repoted net sales increased more than 18% to $6 billion.
