Guess who's hosting new show 'I Pity the Tool'?
Mr. T is the latest nostalgic celebrity to get his own home improvement television show on the DIY Network.
In his new series "I Pity the Tool," Mr. T will employ the forces of destruction to make room for creation -- demolishing worn out spaces and remodeling them for the better.
“Before I worked in show business, I worked in the demolition business,” said Mr. T. “And even after I made it in Hollywood, I kept on building things.”
T will work with a team (which includes HGTV Design Star winner and interior designer Tiffany Brooks) to tear down walls and make rooms over.
“We’re hooking up homeowners who need help with their renovations,” said Mr. T. “I’m tired of all this jibber jabber—we’re out here getting things done, working hard, demolishing the old and rebuilding the new.”
Pun-filled home improvement shows featuring yesteryear celebrities have been a tradition on the DIY Network, which has also hosted "The Vanilla Ice Project" (with Vanilla Ice), "Daryl's Restoration Over-Hall" (Daryl Hall), "The Shatner Project" (William Shatner), and "Rev Run's Renovation" (Rev Run from Run DMC).
