Fiberon hires two decking specialists
New London, N.C.-based Fiberon has announced the addition of Dan Isom and John May Jr. as the company’s new decking specialists. Isom’s territory will include the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., markets, while May will focus on the New Jersey and Philadelphia markets.
"This role is directly focused on connecting with deck builders and remodeling contractors, and Isom and May's experience and category knowledge make them a perfect fit," said Bill Ross, VP sales. "Alternative decking manufacturers can have attractive pictures and detailed information on their Web sites, but the face-to-face interaction inherent with this role allows trust to be built with this crucial homeowner influencer."
Most recently, Isom was an outside product specialist at Parksite Group's Baltimore location. While working at 84 Lumber, he earned nine "Salesman of the Month" awards. Isom is involved in the Maryland chapter of the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA) and graduated from Towson University in Towson, Md.
May was a deck specialist at the North Brunswick, N.J., location for Parksite, where he worked directly with contractors, performed product merchandising at the retail level and conducted continuing education classes. His has also worked at TLJ Sales as a merchandiser and at Shore Fasteners & Supply in sales. May is member of the NADRA and graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
Fiberon is a manufacturer of composite and PVC decking, railing and fencing products.
