Electrolux nabs design awards

Electrolux scooped up four ADEX Awards for Design Excellence, which recognized its professional-grade kitchen appliances for their design prowess.

Electrolux received three Platinum awards for the following products: the Double Wall Oven with Wave-Touch Controls, Single Wall Oven with IQ-Touch Controls and Dishwasher with SatelliteSpray Arm. It also won a Gold award for the Dishwasher with IQ-Touch Controls.

"Electrolux is thrilled to be recognized for our superior attention to design details for the second year in a row, resulting in 18 ADEX award wins over the past 10 years," says John Weinstock, senior VP marketing for Electrolux Major Appliances in North America. "This year's ADEX Award wins in the cooking and dish categories further showcase Electrolux's commitment to producing new and innovative appliances that help consumers achieve superior cooking and cleaning."

Among the features touted by the Electric Single is Electrolux's Perfect Taste Convection technology (for even heat, taste and texture), and the Perfect Taste Temp Probe, which automatically alerts users when dishes reach optimal doneness.

The dishwashers feature the ProClean SatelliteSpray Arm, which provides four times the water coverage of traditional dishwashers without increasing water usage. They also include a 30-Minute Fast Wash cycle.
