Dow promotes two executives

Dow Building Solutions has announced two promotions in its sales organization. Bob Harden, formerly the North East regional sales manager for Dow Building Solutions, has been named VP sales in eastern North America and will lead the sales organization east of the Mississippi. Pete Pendergast, formerly senior global marketing manager in Performance Materials, has been named VP sales in western North America and is responsible for sales west of the Mississippi River.

Harden and Pendergast succeed John Somerville Jr., who served as VP sales for Dow Building Solutions North America. A 35-year veteran of Dow, Somerville was named president and CEO of Lumbermens Merchandising Corp. as of Oct. 1.
