Do it Best bolsters merchandise team
Laura Williams and Nicole Kepler took on new merchandising positions at Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Do it Best Corp. Williams will serve as merchandise manager in hand tools, and Kepler will move to associate merchandise manager of Tools.
The co-op said the moves will enhance the merchandise team’s product and program expertise. Both merchants will develop, implement and communicate programs for their respective product categories, as well as work closely with vendors to deliver profitable promotions and pricing for Do it Best member-owners.
“Both Laura and Nicole bring their experience and innovative ideas to these growing product categories,” said Dent Johnson, VP of merchandising at Do it Best. “These are categories of great importance and Laura and Nicole are well positioned to drive results, growth and success for our members.”
Williams has been a member of the Do it Best merchandise team since joining the co-op in 2013. She most recently served as an associate merchandise manager for hand and power tools since November 2016, where she led the development of several project initiatives. Kepler is a seven-year veteran of the Do it Best merchandising team, most recently serving as an associate merchandise manager for the co-op’s global sourcing and impulse and rental teams.
