Deckorators introduces ‘Ciderhouse’ to Heritage line
Deckorators, a division of Universal Forest Products, has introduced a third color choice to its Heritage line of composite decking: Ciderhouse.
With a light brown hue and the distressed embossing characteristic of the Heritage line, Ciderhouse has the rustic look and feel of distressed hardwood, Deckorators said.
Ciderhouse joins Riverhouse (dark brown) and Smokehouse (gray) in the Deckorators Heritage family, which offers a natural appearance and texture with the ultra-low maintenance performance of wood-plastic composite. The innovative embossing process creates a distressed pattern that does not repeat for at least 12 feet, meaning boards are not only full of rich character, but also look unique.
“Homeowners continue to want the warmth and style of interior design for their outdoor living spaces,” said Chris Camfferman, category marketing director for Deckorators. “Heritage Riverhouse and Smokehouse have been very well-received since their introduction in 2017. Heritage Ciderhouse gives pros and their customers another design option for bringing the inside out.”
Deckorators Ciderhouse will be available for the 2018 decking season in 12-, 16- and 20-foot solid and slotted-edge profiles, along with fascia. The boards are covered by the Deckorators 25-year structural, 25-year stain-and-fade, and 25-year removal-and-replacement limited warranty.
Deckorators has added 4-inch decking to its line of Vista wood-plastic composite decking to give pros and their clients more design flexibility. Vista Ironwood (brown), Driftwood (gray) and Sandalwood (light brown) offer the look of tropical hardwood in a unique 7/8-inch by 3 1/2-inch profile.
Four-inch Vista decking is ideal for alternating designs with 6-inch decking and as a unique alternative for picture framing and breaker boards. It will be available for the 2018 decking season in 12-, 16- and 20-foot solid and slotted-edge profiles.
