Date and time change for NLBMDA business relief webinar

4/6/2020
The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) has changed the date and time of its upcoming webinar about COVID-19 Federal Business Relief Efforts.

The webinar has been rescheduled to April 7 at 3 p.m. EST.

Registration is available here.  NLBMDA Director of Government Affairs Kevin McKenney will present the webinar.

The NLBMDA issued the following statement regarding the webinar and how components of federal stimulus can assist businesses:
Over the past several weeks, NLBMDA has been working tirelessly on behalf of the entire lumber and building materials industry to ensure federal lawmakers understand how vital it is for supporting residential and commercial construction and the U.S. economy as a whole.

Congress recently passed “Phase 3” of their relief efforts in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. This webinar was previously scheduled for April 9 in order to ensure the federal government issued the necessary guidance for programs including SBA loans and paid leave. Now that this guidance has been made available in the last 48 hours and in recognition of the urgency of this information, NLBMDA is moving the webinar to Tuesday April 7 at 3 p.m. ET.

The webinar will also explain how dealers can access federal resources and offer guidance on applications, federal agency resources and contacts, and other important information.

Lastly, we invite you to submit any specific questions that you may have in advance to [email protected].
