Correction: Top 100 Survey

The HCN Top 100 Distributor Scoreboard, measuring two-step distribution sales for building material and hardlines distributors, included multiple errors and omissions. 

• Chicago-based True Value Company’s wholesale sales should have been listed as $1.90 billion, up 1% from the previous year. The original figure published in the September issue was incorrect. HCN regrets the error.

• Darlington, South Carolina-based Diamond Hill Plywood’s wholesale sales increased 11% in 2013. The chart incorrectly showed a year-over-year decline. HCN regrets the mistake.

• The September issue failed to include Idaho Timber, based in Boise, Idaho. The company’s 2013 sales of $202 million were up a reported 22% over the previous year. HCN regrets the omission.

* The original online list incorrectly included Five Star Group of East Hanover, New Jersey. Five Star is a division of Lancaster, which appears 45th on the online list. HCN regrets the confusion.
