BMD names new distribution center manager

Building Material Distributors (BMD) has announced that Manny Gonzalez has joined the Building Products Division as the Galt Distribution Center manager. He will manage the distribution and logistics of all building product materials and products.

“With over 13 years of high volume, multi-shift warehouse leadership and experience, Manny has a strong background in warehouse management,” said Mike Teresa, executive general manager of BMD. “We are extremely pleased to have Manny Gonzalez on board and look forward to his forthcoming contributions that will streamline operations and enhance BMD’s service to our customers”

Gonzalez has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. He has received certification from the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI).

Galt, Calif.-based Building Material Distributors is a wholesale distributor of building materials, focusing on the western United States.
