BlueLinx Minneapolis to distribute Versatex Building Products
Versatex Building Products has expanded its base of wholesale distributors, naming BlueLinx Minneapolis as its latest full-line distributor.
The Minneapolis location is the second BlueLinx outlet to be designated a Versatex distributor. It joins the Charleston, S.C. BlueLinx operation, which Versatex recently honored as its 2017 National Distributor of the Year.
“This expansion should give building-supply dealers and their contractors across the upper Midwest high confidence in product access and on-time delivery,” said Versatex sales and marketing VP Rick Kapres. “BlueLinx has worked hard to gain the respect of both manufacturers and end-users, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with another of their locations.”
Based in Atlanta, BlueLinx distributes building products through a network of more than 40 warehouses and 50 reload facilities nationwide.
“Not only is the Twin Cities region a key territory for Versatex, but the efficient BlueLinx service platform will make life a lot easier for our customers,” Kapres said. “Our aim is to smooth out the supply chain for dealers, lumber yards and home-improvement centers.”

Based in Pittsburgh, Versatex Building Products manufactures of maintenance-free, easy-installation PVC architectural trim materials including trimboards, moldings, one-piece column wraps, and prefabricated corners.
