BlueLinx establishes moulding and millwork team
BlueLinx Holdings Inc. has created a national moulding and millwork team, with Mark Echols being named as its general manager.
Echols will report directly to Mike Wilson, BlueLinx vice president of specialty products.
BlueLinx said that it is establishing the team to leverage its scale and robust logistics platform, a competitive advantage when it comes to moulding and millwork sourcing and distribution.
“This change reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and customer engagement, while positioning ourselves for exponential growth in the years to come,” said Mike Wilson.
The national team will support BlueLinx’s 50-plus distribution facilities’ sales teams in growing its moulding and millwork products, the company said.
“I am excited about the organizational changes because they will allow us to leverage our world class sourcing and logistics platforms more strategically to drive sales growth and better customer service,” Echols said.
Moving forward, BlueLinx said that it will continue to emphasize the moulding and millwork category by investing in talent, technology, and other resources.
