Around the Web: Montpelier, Vt., store closes

The Times Argus reports that Montpelier, Vt., hardware store Somers Hardware has closed its doors after 70 years.

According to the article, the space will be occupied by an expansion of an Aubuchon Hardware store located next door, and many of the former employees, including the owner, will be hired by Aubuchon.
