AMES rolls out new line of fiberglass striking tools
The AMES Companies has introduced a new line of fiberglass striking tools via its pro brand, Razor-Back Professional Tools.
The product development experts at Razor-Back performed extensive research into the preferences and needs of landscape and construction professionals. They concluded that safety, durability and ergonomics were leading concerns.
The new line of striking tools improves upon common issues associated with sledgehammers, pick and cutter mattocks and wood-splitting mauls, with special attention paid to head-to-handle connection, handle breakage and handle grip control.
Features include patent-pending Safe-Lock technology, which uses a steel-anchored connection between the fiberglass handle and head for maximum security and head retention.
They also include an ergonomic, baseball bat-shaped handle with textured, non-slip grip; three-layer overstrike protection; and giber-glass-reinforced lanyard hole.
