Air mover recalled

Packaging Tape Inc. recalled air movers due to a fire hazard, the company and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced yesterday.

The CleanFreak.com air mover/blower's thermal switch can fail and cause the motor to overheat, posing a fire hazard. The products are used to dry floors in commercial and residential buildings.

The recall affects about 2,800 units, which were sold online and at Packaging Tape warehouses in Wisconsin. The products were manufactured in China, and imported by OPS America of Loretto, Minn.
