M&W Precast hires its first ever VP of sales

M&W Precast & Construction Supply, a division of Wehrung’s Family of Businesses, based in Ottsville, Pennsylvania, has named Paul Agnese as its first VP of sales.

“Hiring Paul Agnese into a brand-new vice president of sales position allows us to ensure the company’s future and sustainable growth across all divisions and brands,” said Jason Wehrung, president and third generation owner of Wehrung’s.

Agnese began his tenure with Wehrung’s Family of Businesses as vice president of sales on September 5, 2023.

The company said Agnese is responsible for hiring a brand-new sales and operations team that will help expand the precast concrete division and integrate departments and teams across the organization.

“We are building on our experienced team of experts by hiring new talent that will directly support our customers by sharing the latest products, facilitating one-on-one project consultations, and answering questions,” said Agnese.

“We are one of the few remaining family-owned precast companies, and we’re committed to growing our company by 30% year-over-year through 2025,” said Wehrung.

The company said that revenue growth projections mirror growth trends throughout the past three years.

The global precast concrete market is expected to top $198 billion by 2027, according to a September 2023 Markets and Markets.com report, said the firm.

Wehrung’s Lumber & Home Center, a Do it Best member-owner, has provided quality home renovation supplies for homeowners and construction teams across Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 1946, and has a five-store operation.
