MoistureShield Cladding in the Shoreside finish.
MoistureShield has unveiled its latest composite innovation, MoistureShield Cladding.
Resembling rich, natural hardwoods without the extra upkeep, MoistureShield Cladding offers a durable, low-maintenance finish while adding an elegant aesthetic to any exterior.
“We are thrilled to announce MoistureShield’s Vision and Meridian capped composite decking lines are available for cladding use,” said Matthew Bruce, MoistureShield vice president of sales. “MoistureShield Cladding meets the heightened demand for attractive, high-performance exterior solutions by offering enhanced durability and sophisticated architectural detail for any outdoor environment.”
Featuring MoistureShield’s proprietary Solid Core manufacturing process, the new cladding is protected against moisture absorption, warping, rotting, and damage from insects on all four sides. This ensures the resilient, color-enriched composite cladding will withstand the elements, providing a natural aesthetic that doesn’t require staining or painting.
MoistureShield said it offers the only cladding-approved deck board rated for use in the ground, on the ground, or underwater.
MoistureShield also said its Vision DiamondDefense coating is the strongest cap in the industry and is available in a wide selection of colors including Smokey Gray, Spanish Leather, Cold Brew, Mochaccino, Cathedral Stone and Sandstone. Meridian’s TruTexture Surface features reduced pattern repetition and a true wood-grain finish in rich colors of Citadel, Shoreside, and Mariner.
Manufactured with 95% recycled content with eligibility to earn LEED green building credit, MoistureShield Cladding utilizes MoistureShield capped composite decking, which is field-proven for 30 years with zero structural failures and is backed by a 50-year transferrable structural warranty for all decking series. Vision also features a 50-year fade and stain warranty and 40-year for Meridian.
MoistureShield is a division of Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company.
