Weyerhaeuser's Rettig to head sales for Tru Joist

Federal Way, Washington-based Weyerhaeuser has appointed Jeff Rettig to the role of U.S. sales director for its Tru Joist Engineered Lumber division.

With over 25 years of experience in the building products industry -- 14 of which he has spent with Weyerhaeuser -- Rettig has worked in virtually all aspects of the business, including construction, retail and wholesale distribution.

"Jeff's vast experience in construction supply gives him a unique perspective into the needs and challenges of our partners across the channel, from builders to dealers to our own internal sales staff," said VP engineered lumber products Carlos Guilherme. "This knowledge and leadership will bolster the Tru Joist sales and marketing teams as they continue our tradition of quality service and develop innovative new ways to help customers meet demand and build stronger businesses."

Rettig was most recently serving as region manager in the Northeast. He will be relocating from the Boston area to take on his new role at the Federal Way headquarters.
