West Coast lumber dealers elect Fogarty
Sean Fogarty is stepping into the role of president of the West Coast Lumber & Building Material Association.
Fogarty is VP of Osborne Lumber in Newark, California, where he represents the third generation of the family business that opened in 1950.
During the organization’s annul convention last week in Indian Wells, California, Fogarty encouraged the industry to stick together and stay involved.
“This year I plan to focus on growing -- improving our dealer participation, and strengthening our collective voice,” he said. “We’re going to do this by introducing new events, and continuing to add value to our members through Government Affairs monitoring and Industry education.”
Fogarty will take the association’s reins from Mark Ganahal of Anaheim, California-based Ganahl Lumber.
