Vermont dealers circle the wagons with Governor Scott

2/20/2018

The Vermont Retail Lumber Dealers Association (VRLDA) is inviting Governor Phil Scott to the table.

On April 4, Governor Scott will join the association for a roundtable discussion on the state's business conditions, taking place at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Montpelier.

Tops on the association's legislative agenda are exempting materialmen from retainage (H. 288), business conditions in Vermont, and paid family leave (H. 196).

The discussion is part of the VRLDA’s Annual Lobby Day and will be followed by a reception.

VRLDA has 48 member companies and represents independent lumber and building material dealers, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and other associated businesses in the state of Vermont, and it employs over 1,200 Vermont residents.
