Short & Paulk promotes Phillips

Tifton, Georgia-based Short & Paulk Supply Co. recently promoted Mitzi Phillips, a longtime employee, to its assistant manager position of the Tifton store location. 

Tifton, Georgia-based Short & Paulk Supply Co. recently promoted Mitzi Phillips, a longtime employee, to its assistant manager position of the Tifton store location. 

“Mitzi’s been a part of the Short & Paulk family for the past 15 years,” said Jay Short, president and owner. “Her knowledge, experience and strong work ethic made her an ideal candidate for the assistant manager position. We’re happy that she sees a long future with the company and will do everything we can to help foster that growth.”

A Tifton native, Phillips is celebrating this promotion with her husband of 22 years, Joe, her 21 year-old son, Joe Jr, who recently completed an enlistment in the Air Force, and her 16-year-old daughter, Lindsey, a junior in high school. 

In existence since 1941, Short & Paulk Supply Company provides lumber, hardware and building materials for residential and commercial construction projects throughout South Georgia. Locations include Albany, Dawson, Sylvester and Tifton.
