Ring's End expands its footprint

2/20/2018

Ring’s End announced Wednesday the acquisition of the business assets of Tuxis Lumber at 85 Bradley Road in Madison, Connecticut.  The move will expand Ring’s End's presence in the shoreline communities.

The new location in Madison will be the eighth full-service lumberyard in the company’s portfolio, which includes 11 free-standing paint centers, a commercial paint and lacquer facility, custom millwork shop, a centralized distribution warehouse and an education center.

Family owned and operated since 1902, Ring’s End is a supplier of lumber and building materials and the largest Benjamin Moore paint retailer in Connecticut. Tuxis Lumber has been in business for 56 years.

“We’re looking forward to the opportunity to fulfill the building and home improvement needs of the Madison community," said Bill Ryan, general manager of the new Ring’s End Madison location "Our priority during the transition is to lessen the impact on area customers as we implement new systems, increase product offerings and provide additional services."

During the transition, Ring's End expects to benefit from the proximity to its store in Branford, Connecticut.

Over the course of its 115 year history, Ring’s End has created a one-stop shopping experience for customers, the company said. It carries thousands of products to improve an existing home or build a new one, including brands such as Marvin, Andersen and Integrity windows and doors and the full line of Benjamin Moore paints and stains, the company said.
