Michael Sarrica named president of Ames True Temper

Griffon Corporation has appointed Michael A. Sarrica as president of Ames True Temper, a landscaping products company based in Camp Hill, Pa. He is replacing Eugene Colleran, formerly CEO of Griffon's Home & Building Products segment and of Ames, who has left the company.

“Mike Sarrica is a market focused leader with hands on experience in operations, manufacturing and innovation," said Griffon CEO Ronald Kramer. "We look forward to continuing to grow the Ames business with an emphasis on delivering customer satisfaction. We expect Mike’s leadership to have an immediate impact on Ames.”

In his most recent role, Sarrica was president of DRS Network and Imaging Systems, a subsidiary of DRS Technologies, Inc., which serves the military, industrial and commercial markets. He worked for DRS for 20 years.

Sarrica will report to Robert Mehmel, Griffon president and COO.
